The multi-themed Volos Festival steadily upgrades the cultural profile of the city of Volos and returns in September 2022 for the seventh consecutive year.

What We Did: Visual Identity Design, Communication Material

The identity of “Synthesis” subject is a hybrid manifesto with a provocative character that experiments with the meaning of synthesis (greek for composition) as a word, symbol, form and finally emblem. The identity “plays” between the borders of comedy and tragedy, attempting to reflect on the peculiarity of hosting the festival in an uncertain time, while raising the flag of the certainty of the need for expression and interaction. The goal is to create an artistic mosaic that can function as a platform for inviting participants of different attributes and at the same time to mark the evolution of Volos Festival as the largest multidisciplinary cultural event of the region.
