House of Clauss

House of Clauss redefines the identity of one of the most significant names in the history of Greek wine.

Client: House of Clauss
What We Did: Logotype, Branding, Visual Identity

House of Clauss redefines the identity of one of the most significant names in the history of Greek wine. Rooted in Achaia Clauss, Greece’s oldest continuously operating winery since 1861, the new brand establishes a unifying framework that brings together distinct winemaking expressions under a single umbrella, connected through a shared language of quality, heritage, and contemporary openness.

The new identity draws inspiration from the history of the place itself. The typography is informed by the typographic references and commercial lettering of the winery’s founding era, reinterpreted through a contemporary design approach that preserves their character and authenticity while ensuring modern clarity and legibility.

At the heart of the identity lies the symbol. Inspired by the iconic architectural complex of the Wine Castle, it captures the distinctive towers and central gateway of the historic winery.
