The ongoing depression that affects more countries everyday has inspired 48 top Greek Visual Communication Designers to participate at the group exhibition "Crisis is a Greek word". The exhibition was presented in Izmir, Sofia, Athens and Naousa.
The sarcastic design approach combines the romance / lyricism of the slogan written on the wall with irony and humor. At the same time, Athens is presented as a majestic, yet almost destroyed city in crisis, grounded in scaffolding, a permanent construction site where wishful thinking constantly collides with the harsh reality.
